Climbing Pixel Space

From the final project documenation:

I have decided to take photographs and break them up into particle fields that can be traversed as a pseudo-3d environment. The intention is simple, get users to start interpreting particle fields as spaces. This should be done accidentally and is an experiment in visual technique.

I find that my project is relevant because it seeks to deconstruct a very basic and very well assumed sensation.

With this material, I hope to show that space is completely relative. That any sensations my users have in response to this project are accidental and self-produced.

With a greater understanding behind this phenomena, it may become far easier for designers and animators to produce or simulate primary visual elements. Here's to hoping they do.
